Present Simple Tense

 

                      โครงสร้างประโยค  คือ   Subject + Verb 1

        

          ใช้กับเหตุการณ์

1. ใช้กับเหตุการณ์หรือการกระทำที่เป็นความจริงตลอดไปหรือเป็นความจริงตามธรรมชาติ เช่น
The sun rises in the east.( พระอาทิตย์ขึ้นทางทิศตะวันออก )            .                                               
  Fire is hot. ( ไฟร้อน )

             2. ใช้กับการกระทำที่ทำจนเป็นนิสัย มักจะมีกลุ่มคำที่มีความหมายว่า เสมอๆ บ่อยๆ ทุกๆ อยู่ด้วย เช่น                
I get up at six o’clock everyday. ( ฉันตื่นนอนเวลา 6 นาฬิกาทุกวัน )                                                                           

หลักการจำและนำไปใช้

             1.  ประธาน  He, She, It  หรือ 1 เดียวเท่านั้น ต้องเติม s หรือ es  ท้ายคำกริยาด้วย มีกริยาช่วย คือ does 

                2.  ประธาน I, You, We, They, หรือ 2 ขึ้นไป กริยาเหมือนเดิม มีกริยาช่วย คือ  do

   3.  do และ does  ใช้ในประโยค คำถามและปฏิเสธ

   4.  ในประโยคมีคือ does กริยาไม่ต้องเติม s / es

 

ชนิดของประโยค

    1. ประโยคบอกเล่า =   Subject + Verb1 + (Object).   เช่น

 

                 She likes English .

                 Jack plays football everyday.

                 I like Thai .   

                 Jack and his friends play football everyday.

 

     2. ประโยคคำถาม

         2.1  Yes/No question

               ใช้  Do, Does + ประธาน + กริยา ?  

 

                 Does she like English? 

               Does Jack play football everyday?                 

                 Do you like Thai?

                 Do Jack and his friends play football everyday?

 

            การตอบแบบ Short answer  

               Yes, he/she/it does.

                 No, he/she/it doesn’t.

 

                 Yes, I/you/we/they do.

                 No, I/you/we/they don’t.

        

2.2   ใช้ Question words 

       (What/ Where/ When / Why/ ……+ do/does + ประธาน + กริยา…….?) เช่น

          

           What do you eat for lunch?       I eat noodles.

                      Where does Jim go Mondays?   He goes to school. 

                                   How do they go to school?         They go to school by school bus.

 

 

     3. ประโยคปฏิเสธ ใช้ do not (don’t), does not (doesn’t) ตามด้วยคำกริยาแท้รูปเดิม
          I don’t like Thai.                                                                                                                                                                                                     
         She doesn’t like English.                                                                                
         Jack doesn’t play football everyday.         

                                                                                   

หลักการเติม s ที่คำกริยา

1.กริยาที่ลงท้ายด้วย o, s, x, ch, ss, และ sh,  ให้เติม es เช่น

        pass - passes = ผ่าน       
brush - brushes = แปรงฟัน   
catch - catches = จับ                              
go - goes = ไป               
box - boxes = ชก

2.กริยาที่ลงท้ายด้วย y และหน้า y ไม่ใช่  a e i o u ให้เปลี่ยน y เป็น i แล้วเติม es

       study studies เรียน,          cry - cries = ร้องไห้,         fry - fries = ทอด    

3. กริยาที่นอกเหนือจากที่ไม่เข้ากฎในข้อ 1 และ ข้อ 2 ให้เติม s ได้เลย

 

Adverb of Frequency  ใช้ขยายคำกริยา เพื่อบอกถึงความถี่ของการกระทำ และจะวางไว้หน้าคำกริยานั้นๆด้วย ยกเว้น sometimes อยู่ ต้นประโยคก็ได้ เช่น

                 always    สม่ำเสมอ 100 %           usually    เป็นประจำ 80 %     often       บ่อยๆ 60 %

           sometimes    บางครั้งบางคราว 30 %   seldom    นานๆครั้ง 10 %       never     ไม่เคย 0 %

 

Examples:

      Sandy always goes to school early.

      Mary usually cooks dinner.

      We often drink milk.

      I never go to London.

                         Sometimes I eat pizza for lunch.
